Arrival and departure flights to Cape Town and Johannesburg connecting to Dallas are NOT included in the fee. You will fly into Cape Town and out of Joannesburg.
- Arrival: Book flights from DFW departing on April 2 so you can arrive into Cape Town by April 4.
- Departure: You can book a ticket from Joannesburg to Cape Town, then from Cape Town to DFW. A few operators offer direct flights from Johannesburg to DFW, but this is not considered a round-trip if you originally fly into Cape Town.

If you would like to share a double-occupancy space and get the double-occupancy rate but do not have a guest accompanying you, please let us know. We will do our best to pair up those seeking double-occupancy. Registration rates will be adjusted when pairs are made.**

Day 1: Wednesday, April 4, 2018 – Cape Town
Today your exciting trip will begin. Please make your way to the airport in good time for your flight.
Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our representatives and privately transferred to your hotel.
Once everyone has arrived there will be a welcome dinner. For those arriving in the day, our tour operator can arrange for excursions and activities accordingly.

With stunning views of the working harbour and the Table Mountain in the near distance, beauty and character go hand in hand during your stay. Inside the hotel you’ll find elegance, intimacy, romance sprinkled throughout. On days away from the hum of the city, spend your time exploring the wonderful facilities of the hotel. Recline in the designer spa, lounge by the balmy outdoor pool or dine alfresco at the mouth-watering OYO restaurant. This is Cape Town at its finest.
Day 2: Thursday, April 5, 2018 – Cape Town
Home to endless stretches of golden sand, acres of lush vineyards and the soaring plateau of Table Mountain, Cape Town is as much a living piece of art as it is a wonderland of exciting exploration. Today you’ll be met by a private guide and toured around the iconic city. Starting with a tour of the legendary Table Mountain, you’ll hike to the soaring heights and enjoy unrivalled views across the city.
You then return for lunch at the amazing Bungalow Restaurant in Clifton.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit ‘Millionaire’s Row’, the Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, finally, Greenmarket Square.
To finish with, we have arranged cocktails at The Caprice in Camps Bay.

Day 3: Friday, April 6, 2018 – Cape Town Winelands Tour
Today you’ll enjoy a stunning private Wine Tour amongst the heart of the Cape Winelands. Passing through soaring mountain ranges, rolling vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads, your private guide will awaken you to the beauty of South Africa’s most intoxicating wine regions. Your visit starts in Stellenbosch, where you’ll sip your way across the fields before travelling over the Helshoogte Pass to Franschhoek, the gourmet capital of South Africa. Here you’ll sample some more award-winning wines before stopping at a local restaurant and indulging in a mouth-watering meal that highlights the areas culianry excellence. Finally, your tour will take you to Paarl, one of the Cape’s first farming districts, where you’ll sample the last of your day’s wine before being privately transferred back to your hotel.
Everything is all included and you return for dinner at leisure in Cape Town. Again, we can arrange a full evening plan if you wish.
Day 4: Saturday, April 7, 2018 – Cape Point Tour, Cape Town
Today you’ll embark on an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland of Cape Point. The journey alone is enough to satisfy your thirst for South African beauty, as you pass along the Atlantic Seaboard through Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay. After lunch at a nearby restaurant, you will continue on through Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the stunning Good Hope Nature Reserve. The tour will continue to the Victorian grandeur of Simon’s Town, where you can visit the unbelievably cute penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach before being transferred back to your hotel. We will arrange for a fantastic lunch in Simon’s Town for you. Details TBC.
Everything is all included and you return for dinner at leisure in Cape Town.
Day 5: Sunday, April 8, 2018 – Pilanesberg Game Reserve, South Africa

On arrival to Pilanesberg, you will be met by representatives from the lodge and transferred to your safari lodge – Shepherd’s Tree Lodge.
For your three nights on safari we have gone for a fantastic property in Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Shepherd’s Tree Lodge is a great option with some really fantastic dining options, a favorite being a traditional ‘boma’ dinner round the fire. They have an amazing variety of activities from game drives looking for the ‘big 5’ to walking safaris and cultural music performances in the evening.
The rooms are all fantastic with great views over the bush and the lodge is within a private concession.
You will be briefed thoroughly by the guides and the lodge manager on arrival. Over the course of the three days you can choose from a variety of activities, and the guides will tailor a program for you.
Day 6: Monday, April 9, 2018 – Pilanesberg Game Reserve, South Africa
SAFARI ACTIVITIES IN PILANESBERG GAME RESERVE
You will be able to take part in a morning and an afternoon activity each day.
Activities include: bush walks, picnic breakfast, early morning game drives, bird watching, cultural activities, quad biking, archery, spa, relaxing at the lodge!
All meals are include and taken at the lodge or pre-planned picnics.
SUNDOWNERS IN THE BUSH
This evening, after everyone’s safari activities, we will arrange for a sundowner drinks to be set up in the middle of the bush. You can watch the sun set over the plains and soak in the heart of Africa on your final night on the continent. You will then return to the lodge for a boma dinner.
Day 7: Tuesday, April 10, 2018 END OF STANDARD TRIP – Airline travel back to DFW, arranged by traveler. Book your return flight to DFW from Johannesberg. Plan flights carefully!
For those taking the standard trip, you will be transferred by road back to Johannesburg Airport in time for your flight. We will arrange breakfast and lunch depending on what time your flight is. Dinner will be at your own expense.

For those taking the extended trip, you will be transferred by road back to JNB airport in time for your flight. We will arrange breakfast. The flight is Johannesburg (JNB) – Victoria Falls (VFA) South African Airways 10:50 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Economy
On arrival into Victoria Falls airport you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel.

This evening you will enjoy an incredible sunset cruise down the Zambezi River. Enjoy amazing views and marvel in fantastic wildlife as you sip a cold drink and watch the sun go down.
Day 8: Wednesday, April 11, 2018 – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
TOUR OF THE FALLS
The majestic Victoria Falls are arguably most impressive at this time of year. This is truly a beautiful example of the supreme power of nature, and the sights and sounds offer here will surely amaze. Your tour will be conducted in the morning or the afternoon, depending on your preference. En route to the falls, guests will be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ for a great photo opportunity before setting off through the forest with an expert guide. Your leader will clue you in on both the history of the falls as well as the different types of flora and fauna that occupy this region. You’re sure to get a little wet here but don’t worry; raincoats will be provided.
This afternoon you have to your leisure and we have sent through a list of different activities available.
Day 9: Thursday, April 12, 2018 – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to Johannesburg, South Africa
*Book your return flight to DFW from Johannesberg if returning directly to the U.S. Plan flights carefully!
This morning you will be privately transferred to the airport in good time for your flight down to Johannesburg.

We will not be able to offer refunds of any kind until we reach 20 registrants. After we reach 20 registrants, partial refunds are only available if each cancelling registration can be replaced by a new one.
